Facing rooms and log houses with decorative panels are used mainly for interior decoration. Decorative wall panels are available in sheet, strip and acoustic panels.
Sheet panels are made of MDF, fiberboard, gypsum board sheets, as well as polystyrene, HDF, metal sheets. On the basis of the panel is applied a decorative coating, imitating wood or natural stone, as well as any other textures and shades. The panel can look like a carpet or velvet, for example. For special moisture resistance the back side of the panel is impregnated with a special compound. As a rule, the standard size of the panel is 1.22 m x 2.44 m with a thickness of 3-6 mm. Panels are mounted on a batten or glued. The grooves are closed with decorative elements.
Acoustic panels — more massive, they serve to eliminate echo in rooms with large areas.
Dialed panels externally resemble clapboard.
When exterior decoration is often used siding and batten. The linings are 4-meter and thinner and wider plastic or wooden profile products. Its edge on one side is equipped with a groove, on the other — a spike for a precise junction. Panels are installed on the crate, made of bars. Thanks to the joint tongue and groove, batten does not let precipitation in the form of rain or snow. The use of this building material is also justified for the interior decoration of cabins and baths.
Siding — it is both the material and technology of finishing. Siding is usually called metal or vinyl paneling. Compared to traditional wooden linings, vinyl and metal linings have a longer service life — up to 50 years. Siding gives the opportunity to finish the building, giving it a graceful and unique appearance.
Vinyl panels are very practical, they are unpretentious, attractive and do not require special care to look good. But like any other product operated outdoors, vinyl panels will periodically require your attention. If you follow our recommendations for cleaning them, they will look great.
Vinyl linings can be cleaned with a garden hose. But if the dirt is very heavy, you can use a long-bristle handle brush or a soft cloth with a hose.
